Well howllo everyone! It's been a really great week. I got to visit with some of our clients, gave out some candy to the trick or treaters and welcomed some new clients into the Weitzel family. I'm feeling very barky!

Ok, so this weekend we turned back the clocks by an hour. Yep, we got an extra hour of sleep. Woo woo. But that brings me to very important homeowner s safety reminder at this time of year.

Whenever we turn are clocks back, like this weekend, or we jump forward in the spring, that is when you should change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. That is something that you should do regardless of when you changed those batteries. "Fall behind, spring ahead, great time to make a change". Detectors should have new batteries about every six months at the most. They keep you and your family safe. You should also have a fire extinguisher in your home and keep it handy. So don't dig a hole and bury it somewhere Keep it where you can get your paws on it if you should need it. I will give you a discount for having smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguisher in your house. That's right you'll get a discount! It's like I'm helping you to pay to be safe. If you cannot afford detectors or are unable to install them, some fire companies will see that you get detectors at little or no charge and will even help install them. Call your local fire company to see if they have a home safety program. Also I can even give you a larger discount for a home security system.

Safety is a gift that should be shared, so tell your friends and family to get those detectors or if they have them already, tell them to change those batteries. Just tell them Cole said so.

Ok that s my bark for the week. Look forward to barking with you next week.
