Howllo everyone.

Today I wanted to make sure we observed National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, but I also wanted to remember my dear friend, the founder of this office and a member of our family that passed away a year ago this month. Donald G Weitzel, also affectionately referred to as "Wag", who was the part of the inspiration behind this blog as "Wag" serves a dual purpose. Between me being a dog, who talks about what what makes his tail wag, it also is our Founders nick name.

He was the best of men, and also a military man, which is part of our bend towards the PA Wounded Warriors. Never a harsh word, a pat on my head, a cracker when my mom wasn’t watching or a scratch under my chin. He always had a story, or a joke. He was always there to prop up our spirits when things weren’t going the way we thought they should, with a smile and optimism. He was a leader, a mentor, a true friend, a man to be remembered.

There isn’t a day that goes by that we do not think of him. Each time we answer the phone to help with your insurance, we have a part of him, right there making sure you receive the best insurance and the very best service that he insisted we provide. He was the backbone of this agency, and we here are all doing our best to continue that legacy.

In this season of giving, if you could skip a couple of Starbucks or maybe a lunch out, I would sure appreciate it if you would write a check to the PA Wounded Warrior Project in remembrance of a great man: Donald "Wag" G Weitzel

Thank you for letting me bark about this and in loving remembrance of Wag,
